Hello! We are the NTU Neurodivergent Society (NeuroSoc)!
We provide a space for neurodivergent students to meet, socialise, take part in events, and share our experiences as neurodivergent people.
This society does not require any form of diagnosis or working diagnosis, and we accept those who are self diagnosed. We also do not hold any interviews or assessments, as we aim to provide support and community that is accepting and uniquely student led - we are the only organisation not affiliated with the university that caters specifically to neurodivergent people.
Being neurodivergent is something we have from birth, and something we will carry for the rest of our lives, so we say it's better to celebrate it because it is who we are.
We also aim to hold the university and the SU accountable for neurodiverse issues, as well as provide advocacy for neurodivergent students to help them with any issues they may have.
We run events regularly online, and in person at both the City and Clifton Campuses. Online, we play interactive online games such as Among Us, Gartic Phone, and Jackbox, and in-person we do a range of events from film nights, thematic board game nights, to Infodumping PowerPoints and more.#
You could also just join the discord, which is fully open access, to access our wider community as well as 1-to-1 support - no membership required <3
If you wish to join, please do join our discord server for regular updates and our events schedule (https://discord.gg/c78NDRfRmy), follow us on our instagram (@ntu_neurosoc), and continue on this page to puchase a membership to access these events.
See you all there!
