Introduction

Welcome to the Postgraduate Society here at Nottingham Trent! 

We offer numerous events throughout the year where postgraduate students can meet, socialize, and network in an informal, non-academic setting. 

Aims and objectives

• Provide an opportunity for Nottingham Trent University postgraduate students to meet each other outside of the University environment and their academic school.

•  Facilitate networking encounters for NTU postgrads both within Nottingham Trent University and with other Universities who have similar societies.

• Offer opportunities to access interdisciplinary peer support through social connections beyond those offered by University.

What you can expect to get involved in

• Pub socials
• Trips to local Nottingham restaurants, fairs, and markets.
• Non-alcoholic events including bowling, mini-golf, and movie nights. 
• Mentoring and development opportunities. 

How to get involved

Our society is open to any and all Postgraduate students, including those getting Masters and Doctorate degrees. Our members inclue Nottingham natives, international students, and students of all ages. Everyone is welcome! Follow our social media pages or reach out in order to get involved.
