Hi everyone! On 22nd November (Saturday), we’re planning a visit to Cromford which is part of the Derwent Valley Mills UNESCO World Heritage Site 🏛️😍
A little something for the traveller in you:
Cromford is a place where pioneering industrial buildings nestle in a dramatic landscape – its river and resources were once harnessed to create mills, railways, canals and new communities. Within Cromford, we aim to visit the Textile Museum in Mason Mills and book a guided tour at Cromford Mills (which also includes an audio guide for exploring Cromford Village’s local narratives of the mill workers).
Ticket Cost:
Society Members - Free 🥳💰🍾
Non-Society Members - £22 (please contact the PG Society committee, details below)
Train Ticket:
Return Jounrey (Notts - Cromford - Notts): £8 (with a railcard)
