What is 93% Society and why should you join us?

"7% of the secondary school population are privately educated. Yet, they account for 74% of judges, 61% of Fellows of the Royal College of Physicians and over 50% of Cabinet members."

The 93% Club is a members’ club for people who went to state schools.

We exist to dismantle the class inequality that exists in Britain today through the power of community. By bringing together thousands of like-minded individuals across the country, we are breaking down the structural barriers to social mobility and building a future that’s fairer for the next generation.

• Regardless of background, we believe that everyone should have equal access to valuable opportunities.
• The 93% Club aims to redress this gap by giving university students from state educated backgrounds the opportunity to participate in workshops, seminars, social events, and activities geared towards equipping them with the necessary skills to become the best competitors in the job market.
• The 93% Club is a nationwide charity with over 45 Societies across most of the UK's leading academic institutions.

 

Our 25/26 Aims and goals:

- Host networking events at NTU and join the national events across the UK with other universities!

- Your classic ocean wednesdays with other societies joining us!

- Help with career goals by hosting internships/ cv / graduate scheme help!

-Help you have work experience throughout your university years
