NTU Best New Society 2021/22 ✨

NVSA Committee Excellence Award 2021/22 🏆

Are you a self-identifying woman studying at NTU? If so, this society is for you.

Looking to meet a group of supportive women who could become lifelong friends? Passionate about women’s rights? Want to feel safer and more confident while at university? Then consider joining NTU’s Women’s Welfare Society.

We’re a friendly, down-to-earth community of women working to build a strong, safe, and empowering space for all self-identifying women at NTU. It’s a great opportunity to connect with like-minded, fun, and supportive friends..

Our events range from cosy painting nights and puppy play dates to our much-loved Girl Dinner Socials — whether it's a chill evening out or a bottomless brunch, expect great food, good music, and even better vibes. Plus, you'll be part of our girls’ group chat to stay connected with all your new friends.

Membership fee is just £5 for the whole year and gives you access to professional self-defence classes; wellbeing activities such as yoga and meditation; and other events throughout the year.

We have also set up a private group chat to message if you need help whilst out alone, and of course, lots of socials (drinking and non-drinking!).

Don't hesitate to drop one of our team a message/email before joining with any questions - we can't wait to meet you all!
