Events Assistant £12.21/hr

Zero-hour contract, Tri-Campus

Are you a sociable individual looking to join our exciting and dynamic Trent Events team?

The Entertainments department are looking to recruit Event Assistants to assist with the operation of their diverse events programme across all three campuses.

You will be the face of Trent Events, welcoming students into our venues and setting the tone at all of our events.

Role responsibilities include ticket scanning, on-the-door sales, guest list entry, cloakroom operation, event promotion through flyering and postering, and delivering excellent levels of customer service.

We are looking for confident, reliable individuals who can solve problems under pressure and work well with a wide range of people.

Events Team Leader £12.51/hr

Zero-hour contract, Tri-Campus

Are you a sociable individual looking to join our exciting and dynamic Trent Events team?

The Entertainments department are looking to recruit an Events Team Leader to assist with the operation of their diverse events programme across all three campuses.

You will lead our team of Events Assistants, be the face of Trent Events, welcoming students into our venues and setting the tone at all of our events.

Role responsibilities include leading teams of Events Assistants during events, resolving ticketing issues, assisting with queue management and customer queries, problem-solving issues on the night, and supporting the training of new starters.

We are looking for confident, sociable leaders who are reliable, work well with a wide range of people, and are passionate about the Trent Events programme.

Diner Assistant £12.21/hr

Zero-hour contract, City-Campus

We are looking for part-time Diner Assistants to help run the City Students’ Union diner.

Open every weekday and Sundays from 10:30am into the afternoon, serving freshly made pizzas, wraps and other food while upkeeping a clean and health and safety compliant environment.

Coffee Shop Assistant £12.21/hr

Zero-hour contract, City-Campus

We are looking for part-time Coffee Shop Assistants to help run the City Students’ Union coffee shop.

Open Monday to Friday with shifts from 7:30am into the afternoon, serving hot and iced drinks, as well as pastries and sandwiches while upkeeping a friendly, clean and tidy environment.

Previous barista/coffee shop work is beneficial, but not essential.

Bar Assistant £12.21/hr

Zero-hour contract, Tri-Campus

We are looking for part time bar staff to help the running of the City Students Union bar moving into term three and next year - this will involve shifts during the day, assisting in food and drink service as well as our extensive late night offering - including the setup, smooth running and cleanup, with shifts running up until 4am.

Saturday night availability is a requirement.
