Student Voice Administration Assistant £12.71/hr

Zero-hours contract, Membership – Student Voice

We're looking for a motivated and organised Student Voice Administration Assistant to join the Student Voice Team at NTSU.

This is an exciting opportunity for a current NTU student to gain valuable professional experience while helping to ensure student voices are heard and represented across the University.

In this role, you'll provide professional and responsive administrative support across a range of Student Voice activities. As a first point of contact for students, staff and external stakeholders, you'll deliver a welcoming and efficient service, responding to enquiries, providing information and guidance, and signposting individuals to the most appropriate support services.

A key part of the role will involve supporting NTSU's Academic Representation system, including maintaining representative records, processing registrations, assisting with the recruitment of Academic Reps, and helping to ensure representation processes run smoothly and effectively. You'll also contribute to Student Voice campaigns, engagement initiatives and democratic activities that empower students to shape and improve their academic experience. In addition, you'll have opportunities to support major NTSU events throughout the year, including Freshers' Week and Trent Elections.

We're looking for someone with strong communication and IT skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to build positive working relationships with a wide range of people. You'll be confident handling administrative tasks, working with data and managing your workload effectively. Knowledge of NTSU services and an understanding of student representation would be an advantage.

Alongside the core responsibilities of this role, you'll have an excellent opportunity to develop a wide range of transferable skills that will support your future career. You'll gain hands-on experience in administration, customer service, stakeholder communication, data management, event support and problem solving, while building confidence in managing competing priorities and working collaboratively.

If you're passionate about creating a positive experience for students, keen to develop your professional skills and looking for a role that will make a genuine impact while strengthening your CV before graduation, we'd love to hear from you.

The deadline to apply is 10 August at 23:59. Interviews are expected to be held on 18 August. This role is expected to commence on 10 September.
